GayDay.

Honestly, I liked this band when I was like what, 12 years old? I'm 16 now, and I hate this band. They're sooo...I can't even think of one word to describe them. They're fags wearing make up and being all "punk," trying to appeal a teenage audience and get them to agree with the lyrics. This band is Green Day.

Not to be confused with "Greenery Day."
Green Day is an American punk rock band with just 3 members, Billie Joe Armstrong (Lead vocals and Guitar), Mike Dirnt (Bass), and Tre Cool (Drums). I heard of this band when I was in the sixth grade, bought the American Idiot album, and since back in the day, I went through many "phases," Green Day told me to go think about life in a pessimistic way. I still do, but hey, I grew up. Now, I despise this band. The stuff they write to make a song is just so...sad. Not sad as in the emotion, but as a pathetic excuse to try and make the listeners "think of what's really happening." I mean just, no! Shut up! I haven't heard any of they're earlier albums, but I have heard American Idiot and some songs from their latest album, 21st Century Breakdown. I only have one thing to say, gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

They say they're punk. But yet, I can't help to think that they're just some pussy ass fag band with eyeliner trying to make people sad. Well, not entirely sad, for example Holiday is a song from their American Idiot album, and no lie, for it's time, it was pretty catchy. It still might be now, so I give that to them. But their other singles, like Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) and 21 Guns are examples of songs that make you want to stop and just feel sadness. But, don't you want to feel happy and get pumped up from listening to music? Seriously, theres no point of this music. This band is supposedly punk rock, but from what I have heard, it's just gay music.

Overall, I'm giving this band a 4 out of 10. They're not that bad, they do have their catchy singles, but their other music is trying to make you feel like a rebel, but when you grow up, you can see how ridiculous they are. If you're a tween, then you mostly likely like this band. But when your 15 and over, then it's just sad if you still like them. Seriously, grow up.

Well, thats all I have for this band. Until next time, goodbye.

(P.S. I'll start review albums from bands once this month is over, I don't want to review each album from a band that I despise. I can, but pfft, I haven't even heard all the music in their albums, why the hell would I when I hate these bands? Oh well.)
